Our story
Why we work the way we do
Too many Kitsap homeowners have been told their furnace “needs replacing” by someone who never opened the burner compartment, or sold a heat pump sized off the old unit’s nameplate. We started this company to be the other kind of HVAC contractor in Bremerton: the one that finds the actual fault, explains it, and gives you options you can compare.
We’re a small, locally owned outfit based in Bremerton. That means the person who diagnoses your system is the same person who explains it — and who answers the phone when something isn’t right. It also means we know the local housing: WWII-era cottages in Navy Yard City with no ductwork at all, 1970s split-levels in East Port Orchard on tired electric furnaces, Hood Canal cabins that need heat that survives a windstorm outage.
We handle the full range — heat pump installation, ductless mini-splits (including units you bought yourself), furnace repair, gas piping, gas fireplaces and water heaters — because in a real house those systems share gas lines, flues and electrical panels.
Our working rule is simple: phone-first when it’s broken, evidence-first when it’s time to replace. A failed system gets safe next steps on the phone and a real diagnosis on site. A replacement gets a Manual J load calculation, a duct and electrical review, and a written scope you can hold side by side with anyone else’s.
We work for homeowners, landlords and property managers across Kitsap. That includes the many military families renting off-base near Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Naval Base Kitsap. Our HVAC tips for military families cover who to call for on-base versus off-base homes.

How every job runs
Six steps, whether it’s a flame sensor or a full system
- Step 1
Diagnose
Symptoms, safety checks, controls, airflow, ducts, condensate and electrical — the failed part is confirmed with a test, not a guess.
- Step 2
Explain
You see what failed and why, what we tested, and what we still don’t know. Plain English, no pressure.
- Step 3
Size & select
For replacements: Manual J load calculation, Manual D duct review and Manual S equipment selection — three separate steps.
- Step 4
Quote in writing
Model numbers, labor, permits, electrical, removal, startup and exclusions on one page. Rebates shown separately from price.
- Step 5
Install & commission
Permits pulled, refrigerant handled by EPA 608-certified techs, startup readings recorded, inspection scheduled.
- Step 6
Document & follow up
You keep the findings, model and serial numbers, warranty registration details and a maintenance schedule.
Proof, not badges
What you’ll have in hand after every job
A city name and a phone number don’t prove a contractor is local or careful. Records do. Here’s what we leave with every customer, and what you should ask any HVAC contractor for.
Written findings
The symptom you reported, the cause we confirmed and the reading or test that proved it.
Photos of what we found
Dated photos of the failed part, duct damage, corrosion or crawl-space conditions, taken before anything is hauled away.
Options with exclusions
Repair, stabilization and replacement paths, each with its scope, price and what isn’t included.
Model, serial and permit numbers
Everything installed is on record, with the permit number and inspection result wherever a permit applies.
Startup readings
Measured airflow, temperatures, pressures and gas or electrical checks from commissioning, not just “it’s running.”
Maintenance notes
What to watch, when to service it, and who registers the manufacturer warranty, and by when.
Our commitments
What you can hold us to on every job
Every visit follows the same four rules, from a one-hour diagnostic to a full heat pump install.
- 01
Diagnosis before sales talk
We show you the failed part and the test that proved it before discussing repair or replacement.
- 02
Written options, side by side
Repair, stabilize or replace — each with scope, price and exclusions in writing so you can compare fairly.
- 03
Sized with Manual J
New equipment is matched to a room-by-room load calculation, not the size of the old unit.
- 04
Tidy, documented installs
Permits pulled, startup readings recorded, and the jobsite left cleaner than we found it.
Where we work

- Jefferson, Clallam, Thurston and across the water: scheduled installs, replacements and maintenance.
FAQ
Questions about how we work
What will I have in writing after you work on my system?
The symptom you reported, the cause we confirmed and the readings behind it, the repair or replacement options we offered with their exclusions, and what we actually did. Installs add model and serial numbers, startup readings, warranty-registration duties and the permit and inspection status. Keep it with your house records; it makes the next repair-or-replace decision much easier.
Do you work with landlords, property managers and renters?
Yes. We schedule around tenants, send findings to whoever authorizes the work, and keep a service history per unit. Renters in off-base housing near Naval Base Kitsap should go through their landlord or manager first unless there’s a gas smell, CO alarm or burning odor. Those are 911 or gas-utility calls from outside before anything else.
How far do you travel from Bremerton?
Bremerton and nearby Kitsap neighborhoods get the quickest repair response. The rest of Kitsap County and nearby Mason and Pierce communities are regular stops on a planned schedule. Farther areas such as Jefferson, Clallam and Thurston counties are served for scheduled installs, replacements and maintenance. Call with your address and we’ll give you an honest window.
